Speaking of change we have seen that some main political figures, known for their corruption scandals, are now being taken to task. The people of this nation have suffered far too long and accountability is the need of the hour. Those who have looted and plundered the wealth of this nation must be brought to justice. It is also a great time to see how political parties like PPP and PML N have taken it so personally when one of their own is arrested on corruption charges. It just exposes them infront of the nation and shows that they are only concerned about their own ulterior designs and the prosperity and security of this nation was never a priority for them.
Moving on from internal politics what is happening at our borders is a matter of grave concern. The Indian government seems to have yet again adopted the same policy of aggression towards Pakistan. War mongering is something they believe in and have time and time again used to destabilize Pakistan. But they must be reminded that we Pakistanis have faced them before and have the capability to do it again. It is the month of September and we cannot forget all those heroes who fought for us in the 1965 war. A war we fought as a nation, a war that taught us what unity faith and discipline means. We took on an army many times our size and defended our motherland successfully. Those who wanted to have breakfast at gymkhana ended up running away. We salute all those who sacrificed their today for our tomorrow and we pray that Allah grants us the same resolve to protect our country. We must stand behind our soldiers so that they know we are with them and we will support them against threats both internal and external.
